Pack-System

The so-called “Packs” of TYR represent local branches of the PMC, functioning as semi-autonomous substructures while remaining an integral part of the overall TYR organism. They serve not only as regional footholds but also as strategic instruments for maintaining diplomatic relations with local factions, security companies, gangs, and other relevant actors. Their purpose is to ensure long-term stability, operational capability, and reputation on the ground.

Each Pack maintains its own leadership structure, headed by a Pack Leader – generally a member of TYR’s RFE (Pack Command, german: Rudel-Führungsebene). The Pack Leader not only represents the local Pack but also participates in overarching decision-making within TYR as a whole.

Unlike the centralized PMC structure, joining a Pack does not require prior completion of the Basic Wolf Training (JaGA; german: Jagd-Grundausbildung). Admission is handled through location-specific selection procedures, with alignment to TYR’s philosophy and structure as a mandatory prerequisite. Prospective members are evaluated based on engagement, presence, and reliability within the Pack environment. If identified as potential recruits by leadership, a candidate is nominated as a Pack Prospect during the Pack-Thing, the internal assembly of the Pack.

As a Prospect, an individual is affiliated with the respective location both factionally and organizationally. The duration of this probationary phase is flexible and may range from several months to multiple years, depending on the Pack’s assessment. Advancement to Full Pack Member status requires a unanimous decision by the Pack-Thing – a simple majority is not sufficient. With this status, members gain the right to actively participate in Pack life and may eventually assume leadership responsibilities, provided they demonstrate the necessary capabilities.

Pack Members are regularly deployed in operational contexts of TYR PMC, including logistical operations, reconnaissance tasks, or support missions. However, participation in structured military operations alongside TYR’s main units – or within the Wolf-Fleet Verdandi – requires successful completion of JaGA. A Full Pack Member is thus recognized as an official part of TYR and as a representative of their location, though not automatically as a fully trained Jagdwolf / Predator.

TYR’s territorial presence currently manifests in three principal locations:

  • Grim Hex (TYGRIX) – the “Mother Pack” and founding cell of TYR
  • Riker Memorial (TYRAK) – operating the Deadlight Nightclub
  • Port Tressler (TYCRO) – centered on infrastructure, technology, and official networking

The structure is further supplemented by TYNOX, a nomadic Pack without a fixed location, whose members operate flexibly between the above regions and function as adaptive operational assets.

The Pack system is a cornerstone of TYR’s strategic and cultural identity. It enables the decentralization of responsibility, the strengthening of local ties, and the integration of individual playstyles within a unified organizational narrative.

Our TYR organization is divided into smaller sub-organizations known as Packs.
Please make sure to join not only the main TYR organization, but also the specific Pack you’re assigned to – or the one you wish to apply for:
