Sailing the Corsair through the galaxy – that is the creed of the crew “October.”
At least once a week, the Drake Corsair NSV departs from its home port at Grim Hex. What sets October apart: we don’t follow rigid recruitment procedures. Instead, we bring in different hands as needed – loaders, day laborers, or anyone willing to move cargo, clear holds, or support logistical tasks. Your past, your record, or the problems chasing you don’t matter. On board, what counts is that you perform – and that you leave your baggage behind.

At the same time, we are looking for permanent crew members to take responsibility for maintenance, supply, and ship operations. A Corsair requires a solid core crew of four to five personnel. That’s why we seek generalists with technical and astrophysical knowledge, able to serve as “floaters” and rotate between positions as mission demands.

The NSV, operated by the crew “October,” is a vessel of the Grim Hex mercenaries of TYR – home to scouts, bouncers, and soldiers of fortune. Members of the Mother-Pack TYGRIX (TYR Grim Hex) will frequently be found aboard, and the ship also works in close cooperation with TYR’s subsidiary GrimNeck Repair & Engineering. There is always work to be done – and rarely a dull moment.

Looking ahead, the October Crew together with the NSV Drake Corsair is planned to transition onto a Drake Kraken, providing the crew with a “moving port” beyond Grim Hex. Once the Kraken becomes available in the coming years, October Crew members will have the opportunity to take part in its operations as well.
